To Anonymous: I don't blame you (... for being surprised ...), but the thing is, as a movie buff (porn and otherwise - LOL) I'm rather interested in Monroe and her life. So, having watched this film, I came across the above review on Film-Talk, which expressed - more or less - my own opinion about the film and thought I might put a link to it on my blog.

I have zero interest in seeing this film, even if someone gave me a free screener I wouldn't want to watch it. I have basically the same views as the originator of this post. Monroe was an Actress so good, perhaps too good to get an Oscar nomination of her own by her peers. WHY...would I want to see a simulation of Monroe who got that Oscar nomination while it escaped the real woman who deserved one? No thanks. - Montana Cowboy
