This blog is about COLT men and models from all periods, starting with the studio's foundation in 1968 with a pronounced focus on the 1980s. On occasion, though, you'll find the odd post that contains non-COLT content. This blog is for adult audiences only. All men depicted on The Men of Colt Blog are at least 21 years of age or older.

Wilfried Knight, 1978 - 2013

... a part of me still refuses to believe it, but it appears that German-born gay porn actor Wilfried Knight has taken his own life following the suicide of his partner Jerry Enriquez on February 21.

Frankly ... I just can't get over it ... I just can't ... Wilfried's suicide coming as it does only months after those of his fellow porn actors Arpad Miklos and Roman Ragazzi.

It really does seem incredible!

Though born in Germany, Wilfried was a French national. A self-proclaimed multi-tasker, he was discovered by MEN-AT-PLAY some 8 years ago, he quickly turned into an international gay porn sensation due to his masculine looks and professional attitude.

It appears that Wilfried could not get a Green Card as the U.S refused to recognise the marriage between him and Jerry. Hence, they moved to Vancouver. But things did not pan out for them which eventually pushed Jerry over the edge. ... and so it did Wilfried!

In the final analysis, both have become victims of ridiculous immigration policies coupled with the fact that gays are still treated unequally.
May you rest in peace, Wilfried

Besides several photo-sets, Wilfried has also done several movies for COLT, my own personal favourite of which is his hot solo:

I myself will remember Wilfried as sexy, handsome, masculine, man with the most beautiful smile ever

Another tragic loss; been there, almost done that more than once, but there is always help available if you seek it. I'm glad I stuck around to live the life I have now and I see that it was worth going through all the sh$t I did to get here.

To Vintage Hottie: Yes, it's a terrible shame Wilfried (and so many others!) didn't take the time to 'reflect' on their situation ... it's one of life's Universal Laws that Everything changes, nothing stays the same, and if you stick around long enough - if you stick it out - things will change. Eventually. Because they do. And on the off-chance they don't, your opinion and view of things will! As you say, we've all been there more than once ... and probably will be again ... but the thing is to ... well, stick it out ... grin and bear it ... sooner or later, something will happen. Or so I hope ... ...

I heard the news the other day. As someone who had lost a partner to HIV/AIDS I can't describe the hole that I fell into after my loss. After beating addiction to alcohol and drugs somehow I came through it but sadly some of us don't. I hope Wilfried and the others all found the peace they were seeking.

Been there but always had friends to help me through the dark days! Big loss to us all!
